I wanted to make a blog somehow and made it impulsively.
Especially, there is not what I want to write in the blog, or rather, I have no writing at all, but the work of making a blog was made suddenly.
I was able to achieve the goal.I did it! ahahaha
I think that it was good to do the impression well.
I thought that it was better to do this kind of work occasionally because I forget it if I do not do it occasionally.
Specifically, we did the following:
Server contracts

I made the server a VPS of Sakura which I often use.It is easy to use, and I am used to using a good number of OTHER VPS of Sakura, and I made it to the VPS of Sakura because management becomes troublesome if I borrow it in various places.
It is good that there is a sense of security that you can scale up later by borrowing it with low specforites for the time being.
Well, this time only, but there seems to be no need to scale up at all.
Domain contracts
I got this domain, myservers.work, with Godaddy.I only used it personally, so anything was fine, but when it was myservers.jp, it was expensive and the name went out to whois, so I made it to .work.
Server settings
I put CentOS7.
Apache was in from the beginning.
InstallING PHP
PHP was not included, so I added it.I decided to put the latest 7.3 because it is an angle. If not, wordpress and phpMyAdmin may be told to upgrade PHP later, so just in case.I decided to put 3.
The following page was very helpful.
Install MariaDB
I decided to put the latest version just in case php.
This was helpful on the following page.
Install MariaDB latest version with yum on CentOS7
Apache settings
For now, I've set blog.myservers.work as a virtual host. This is a never-for-a-half task, but the next one was new for me.
Configure SSL with Let's Encrypt
I've used some paid SSL so far, but I was curious to know that there is free SSL, so I thought I'd make this blog SSL compatible in vain on this occasion.
The following pages are helpful.
Use Let's Encrypt with CentOS7
For the time being, it was a shock to say that it was free for me who thought that even a certificate of several thousand yen was cheap, but even if I pulled out that there was no payment work, I was surprised that the setting was very easy.
If you have ever made it into a normal SSL, I think that you will surely be shocked by the ease and speed of too much.
Including Apache configuration changes, it takes only a few minutes.
Is this the most meaningful part of this work?It was a work that felt rather fresh.
By the way, Let's Encrypt requires an update work once every 90 days, and it seems to set the server to update automatically usually, but it might be better to refer to the following page than the above page for that method.
let's Encrypt certificate renewal CentOS7 edition
Installation of WORDPRESS
For the time being, I put my favorite phpMyAdmin and created a user for WORDPRESS and a data base for that user.
Come to think of it, when I opened phpMyAdmin, I got an error or mysqli,
yum install --enablerepo-remi,remi-php73 php-mysqli
Added.
After that, I downloaded WORDPRESS in wget and unzipped it, finished the initial setting of WORDPRESS, and arrived at this post screen.
Summary
I'm glad it was an opportunity to try out the free certificate.
This blog because I achieved the goal for the time being, or rather I do not need a server, maybe I want to write something again, I leave a little because I might want to try.
No, I also reprinted the image from Flicker.
